While I was out for the night celebrating my Big Bro’s Birthday (Mike you getting old you bum), we stopped off to check our homeboy DJ Alex Torres over at La Sarsa Lounge on 1st Ave and 10th Street. We originally planned to stay for just a bit, but ended up staying the whole night. DJ Alex Torres brought the house down with his selection of deep house, and keep the party bumping the whole night. I haven’t been to a House Music jam like this in a while, and to top it off, he was playing real Vinyl. Reminded me of nights at the Shelter. He is going to be playing at Stay Lounge this Sunday, and there is no work Monday, so you know its going to be a crazy party.

Alex’s selection of songs is amazing. Some of the best underground house I heard in a while.
Not sure why but I am a victim of the same thing. I guess its to show that the cap is still new. Beats me.
