Ever feel like you’re suffocating when listening to most Hip-Hop now and days well you can get a breath of fresh air from the (559) Selma California. ICEMAN is one of the artist on the COB roster drops his latest project called “Beyond The Boards” it is clear to me that not only Hip Hop isn’t dead but this album is one of the few I’ve heard that kept to the formula of what real rap suppose to sound like in 2011.
ICEMAN not only raps but he’s an audio engineer, a very talented on at that. Mixing and recording songs for himself, Crooked i, Horseshoe Gang,DJ Drama, B.o.B., COB Digital, Trachous Records to name a few. Listening to this album I got the same feeling of it being fresh, different and separates it’s self from everything else out there. Production credits include F-Plus, (Awbskure, Shon J, Miguel of 3AM), Ty Steez, Quest, Smoove, Nyg-ill and freatures from Horseshoe Gang, Copywrite, F-Plus, Applez, P.G & Big Skinee, J-Dubb, J-Rush.
