The Beat Renaissance

These are the first 2 installments of the MeKobane flip files. Day purchased one of those cool ass HD flip cameras which I need to get A.S.A.P or maybe the Kodak Z16. I dont know yet but I will be carrying one of those very soon. Of course Day had to catch footage on the way to Kobanes session. The second video was of the actual recording session of Kobanes “Yeah Yeah I Know” produced by Verse & BSKI. I forgive you Day…….we all make mistakes. j/k.lol. Chris of Weapon X promotions happen to stop by the session to see what we was cookin up. We should of caught his reaction on film when he heard the other joints but we can do that next time.lol. Verse and I stood up to like 5am in the studio the day before making the track for “Yeah Yeah I Know” from scratch, tracking it into protools, arranging it and giving it a ruff mix. Kobane did the song on the spot the next day. Now thats putting in work. I love it. – BSKI

Who would have thought just two years ago at the start of his campaigning he would end up becoming the first black president of the United States of America. This country is great. Hope has been instilled back into the hearts of the American people and people around the world. I’m sort of a conspiracy theorist so I hope this guy can prove me wrong. Im happy that ASSHOLE George Bush is out of office but sometimes I ask myself “Could this be too good to be true”. The way he is marketed and promoted. Hes the coolest president ever to walk the whitehouse lawn.During his campaign he probably had the biggest approval rate amongst the young generation. Look at the turn out of young voters this time around. Hey even I voted. Just the timing our new President Obama seems to good to be true. Bush f#@ks everything up (ex: Doesnt consult with the U.N regarding invading Iraq which was supposedly a justification for 911, Spends a shitload of money to keep our troops overseas. I could be here all day with a list of his fuck ups but you get the point) Now all of a sudden a savior appears in this time of turmoil. History tends to repeat itself so lets hope this he can break this cycle. Ill conclude this post with saying I believe there are always higher powers at work that we will never see but we will always feel if we observe closely to daily routine and life in general. Oh and Im not talking about Jesus , Allah or any other so called spiritual savior. HOPE , PROGRESS , CHANGE. Its still a beautiful day….
